The Salt Parlour Identity

I’ve recently completed a very enjoyable branding project for a new startup company called The Salt Parlour. The company promises it’s customers that their sea salt and sulphur scrubs will make your skin look and feel summer smooth – so it was essential that a bold, iconic yet timeless logo was developed to reflect this. A refined version of the anchor logo with the initials ‘S’ and ‘P’ was also developed for use across social media platforms. The second phase of the project was to develop label artworks which would be applied to the products packaging, with a punchy colour palette developed to differentiate each scrub variant. Check out the project in full here. The Salt Parlour have recently launched their e-commerce website, so why not take a look at their fabulous products here and become a #SaltyScrubber.

The Cellars Alehouse

I am delighted to be involved in the development of an identity for a new Micro Pub called ‘The Cellars Alehouse’. Currently running the bureaucratic gauntlet, The Cellar’s Alehouse should be opening in Maidstone in the Autumn of 2015. The Micro Pub specialises in Craft Beers and will be situated in the cellars of the old Style and Winch brewery for that perfect touch of historical resonance in the county town of Kent. Here is a sneak preview of some of the identity progress so far, more to follow soon.

New Personal Branding

For a while I have wanted to develop a new personal identity and was excited to finally have the time to sit down and explore some ideas. I wanted this logo to represent my clean and minimalist style of work. My starting point were of course my initials “M” and “P”. Those offered many great opportunities for a letter-mark. But I wanted the simplest and clearest depiction of these initials possible and this is the final result, check out the project in full here.

Glaze Catering

Glaze Catering specialise in weddings and corporate events with an aim to bring a fresh, modern perspective to catering. I was recently invited to develop a printed brochure that could be distributed to clients. The key focus throughout the project concentrated on developing a design with a quality and premium feel in a flexible format that could also contain menu inserts. The outer page was printed on a heavyweight stock with the logo foil blocked to give it the desired luxurious feel.

Sci-Fi Band Website Design

I was recently commissioned to design an identity and micro-website for a talented musical collective called ‘Sci-Fi Band’. The 9-piece band consists of some of the UK’s finest musicians, with international experience performing with chart topping singers and leading West End Musicals. The band are available to hire for events and perform dressed authentically as iconic science fiction movie characters. The brief was to deliver a Sci-Fi themed identity and website which would showcase this fun and unique concept that is truly out of this world!
